{"id":49,"date":"2014-07-01T11:30:10","date_gmt":"2014-07-01T09:30:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/taf-jsg.info\/?page_id=49"},"modified":"2021-11-11T14:16:30","modified_gmt":"2021-11-11T13:16:30","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/taf-jsg.info\/","title":{"rendered":"Welcome to the RU\/IM Telematics Joint Sector Group"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>The TAF and TAP RU\/IM Joint Sector Group (JSG) was set up in October 2012 as a voluntary organisation and is now supported by 14 European Associations involved in the implementation of the Technical Specification for Interoperability relating to the subsystem &#8216;Telematics Applications for Freight services&#8217; (TAF TSI) of the of the rail system in the European Union.<\/p>\n<p>Starting January 2014, the JSG in collaboration with the project team dedicated to the implementation of the &#8216;Telematics Applications for Passenger services&#8217;\u00a0(TAP TSI), has included the technical management of the common part of the two specifications (Railway Undertaking\/Infrastructure Manager IT communications).<\/p>\n<p>In order to effectively implement the Regulation about telematics applications, an efficient sector-driven organisation is required to be in place specifically to harmonise and coordinate the work-plans of the sector and work to agree a common sector position towards European Union Agency for Railways (ERA) and Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE) whenever required.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>main tasks<\/strong> of the JSG are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To prepare and present the rail sector positions to the TAF\/TAP Steering Committee.<\/li>\n<li>The coordinated management of the rail sector change requests (CRs) of the TAF IT specifications at the Change Control Management (CCM) Working Party for TAF\/TAP RU\/IM communication TSI managed by the European Union Agency for Railways.<\/li>\n<li>To support the assessment process of the TAF TSI Implementation managed by the European Railway Agency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The TAF and TAP RU\/IM Joint Sector Group (JSG) was set up in October 2012 as a voluntary organisation and is now supported by 14 European Associations involved in the implementation of the Technical Specification for Interoperability relating to the subsystem &#8216;Telematics Applications for Freight services&#8217; (TAF TSI) of the&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":8,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-49","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/taf-jsg.info\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages\/49","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/taf-jsg.info\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/taf-jsg.info\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/taf-jsg.info\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/8"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/taf-jsg.info\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=49"}],"version-history":[{"count":20,"href":"https:\/\/taf-jsg.info\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages\/49\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":1000,"href":"https:\/\/taf-jsg.info\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages\/49\/revisions\/1000"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/taf-jsg.info\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=49"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
